Dental Future 3.x - the virtual patient in the focus
Pluradent Symposium 2016: Impressions and Review

The second successful Pluradent Symposium took place in the Lufthansa Training & Conference Center in Seeheim-Jugenheim in April 2016. More than 800 people attended the symposium and took the opportunity to exchange their opinions regarding the future of dentistry. Multiple lectures and mySymposium seminars covered an extensive spectrum of relevant subjects. The focus topic around "the virtual patient" was extensively discussed in all its complex facets. Top-level speakers, an experienced moderation team and a perfect organization made the symposium the highlight of the dental event calendar. Uwe Jerathe, CEO Pluradent, opened the symposium with a warm welcome speech and an outlook on the event theme. The aim of the inspiring symposium was not only to present innovative technologies and workflows, but also to introduce the latest findings for dental environments and processes. Thanks to the advanced event app, the participants were able to communicate their opinions promptly and to interact directly with the moderation team.

Additionally, Pluradent presented an impressive Dental Future Exhibition in partnership with the dental industry. A new exhibition concept allowed the demonstration of digital processes beyond the exhibitor's booths, which consequently built the direct bridge to the previous lectures. Visitors could not only discover individual innovations, but also experience the networking possibilities of technologies and devices.
